Our son Ryker Erick Christiansen was born on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 4:28 p.m. The delivery wasn't a bad one, especially since I had an epidural early on and it helped me progress in labor more quickly than had I gone without one. Ryker weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was 20 inches long and that explained why he kicked me so much towards the end of the pregnancy. He came out screaming and so we knew he had healthy lungs and a cute cry!

He has been mostly healthy since delivery - he had problems with high bilirubin (jaundice) and so we had to put him on a bilibed at home for three days to help his body - but for the most part, he does really well with his eating and pooping.

He already holds his head up, can roll onto his side, pushes with his legs and feet and makes all sorts of interesting sounds and faces awake or asleep.
We love him so much are so happy to add him to our family!
