Bun in the Oven

So most of the family should know by now, I'm pregnant and expecting to deliver June 3, 2010. This is the current posting based on three positive home pregnancy tests. My official Drs appointment isn't until October 22nd because they told me they wouldn't see me until I was about 8 weeks along. I'm really nervous about all of this because it is a first for me and Erick. We were going to wait until Thanksgiving to announce it but I have had so many questions about this pregnancy that I told Erick last night that I needed to be able to ask questions and get help if needed.

We're really excited about this and hopeful that everything will work as it should. I've been having trouble with sickness (there's no limit to the time of day when the nausea hits!!) and with student teaching, it has proved to be a bigger challenge than I had originally thought. I just need to get through the next 7 weeks and I'm done with student teaching, I will be past my first trimester, and I get to Graduate from Weber, celebrate my 1 year anniversary with Erick, and celebrate Christmas. (What a year!!!)

  1. Congrats!!! We are so excited for you guys. If you are sick then your doctor can call you a prescription to a pharmacy for something that will help even before they see you for the first time for the pregnancy. My suggestion would be for Zofran it really helps and it doesn't make you tired like some of the others out there. Promethazine does okay but it puts me right to sleep which doesn't really help unless you are trying to go to sleep; :)

  2. YAY! I am so happy for you guys! I am sorry you are sick. Luckily I didn't get morning sickness (amazing because I had 2 babies in there). Let me know if I can help with anything or answer any questions. I am here if you need me! Congrats again!

  3. We're also very excited for you two!!

I'd have to ditto what Nikki said and add that I hope that it only lasts your first trimester!!! I have had to be on Zofran for all four pregnancies (all 9 months) and it is a wonder drug! I was pregnant with David my entire first year of teaching and that was rough, so I feel ya with the teaching thing. Hopefully though December will get here quickly (for me too!!!! :D) !!!!
