Updates!!

I went to the OBG last week for my 3 month appointment. I was scared silly because I just hadn't felt pregnant lately - the morning sickness was gone and I wasn't feeling so gross and thought I had lost the baby. The doctor put the ultrasound wand on me and in an instant he found the baby and told me that the baby was doing great, he turned on the sound and I got to see the heart beats as I heard them. Then he pressed a little harder and got a measurement on the baby - 3 inches!! He told me that this was a healthy baby and that we were on schedule. He then just sat there watching and the baby started moving around on its own. It was sitting on its head with its bum in the air.

While I was watching our child on the screen I was able to feel peaceful and happy and then I got excited when the Doctor told me that on the next visit they will be able to tell us what gender of baby we are having!!! This has been so exciting for us because at the end of this week, I will have made it through my first trimester and the percentage of miscarriage will go down - we are starting to realize the fact that in 6 months we will be parents.
