Roll those Eggs!!!

The Christiansen family has an Easter tradition called "rolling easter eggs" and that is exactly what they do. They save whatever easter eggs they don't use for eating and take them to a rocky hill and roll them. Erick found a spot in Fruit Heights and on Saturday, April 17th, we hiked up there with Kyle, Jake and Nikki's family, Michelle and Dan's family, Maren and Landon's family, and June and Larry. The kids rolled their eggs down the trail and then would run down to pick the eggs up for the adults (I'm glad they wanted the exercise!). The object is to see how many times you can roll the eggs without the yolks coming out of them so it is kind of a demolition derby of sorts for eggs. At first, I was skeptical, but it was fun!!! Everyone rolled at least one egg and it lasted about 45 minutes. There are a bunch of animals on that hill that were well fed by the time we were done. Here are some of the fun pictures that I took!
