First day in the park.
Since Erick and I were married we have never taken a long vacation except for family reunions and camping so we decided to take one this year. We decided that with Erick and my graduations and Ryker's 1st Birthday, we needed to go on vacation so we booked a trip to Disneyland. We left on Monday, May 16th and returned on Friday, May 20th.
We flew out on JetBlue to Long Beach, took the Super Shuttle around, and stayed at the Castle Inn and Suites at the Main Gate. The weather wasn't super warm except for our last day in the park. The first day was cold and rainy, forcing us all to buy ponchos. It rained most of the morning and the stopped around 12:00. It took us the rest of the afternoon to dry out. The next day was cool but not rainy and the last day was around 80 degrees.
On Wednesday, my mom took us to dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant (the restaurant inside of Pirates of the Caribbean). Erick had the salmon and I had a pepper sauce steak. The food was really good and the ambiance was wonderful.
Here's our little Pirate!
We were able to ride all of the rides except for Star Tours, Indiana Jones, and Splash Mountain, because they were closed for refurbishment. However, on the last day in the park, without any fanfare, Indiana Jones opened and we were able to ride it. We never waited a long time for any of the rides. The longest we waited for a ride in Disneyland was 30 minutes and 50 minutes in California Adventure.
Riding the Tea Cups
Ryker was so much fun in the park. He slept through the first ride we rode which was Pirates but woke up and enjoyed the rest of the day. The only rides he couldn't ride with us on were the roller coasters and the Tower of Terror. This worked out really well because Mom and Dad couldn't and didn't want to ride those rides so they took Ryker and Erick and I rode.

We all had a lot of fun and came home tired but happy.
